a very special frog
A very special frog
By: Isikuki
Which creature lives near water, swim with webbed feet, croaks, and catches flies with their long tongue? Guess who it is?
A snake, a lizard or a frog. That’s right a frog. Did you know frogs are famous for their loud croaking? Did you know frogs live in steep, sloping, bush high above the water or live under damp places,or under rotten logs or damp rocks? Frogs eat small larvae, worms, beetles and insects. Did you know frogs are slimy as if it looks like spit all around its body? It has small feet smaller than my finger and it eyes are round and small. The colour of its skin is golden yellow to light brown in colour. Frogs sense by hearing sounds that is close to them or it camouflage so once a person comes close the frog will stay still. So the person can’t see the frog or if you try to grab the frog then the frog will hop away.
